With the continued growth in our business both domestically and internationally, it’s an exciting time to join the Barminco team. We have long, stable relationships with our existing clients and it is on this basis we are looking for Expressions of Interest for Entry Level Underground Mining candidates for future roles working in the Kimberley region of WA. These potential opportunities will be on a 2:2 or 2:1 FIFO roster from Darwin, Broome and Perth, with DIDO opportunities for those local to the area.
Our entry level roles include Truck Operators and Nippers and these positions will introduce you to underground mining, building a strong foundation for future career opportunities within the business.
Upon commencing, you will be enrolled in a Certificate ll in Underground Metalliferous Mining and provided with industry-leading training to encourage and enable your future development.

Key Requirements;
Previous experience in a labour-intensive, physical role, i.e. farming, trades, labourer (preferable);
Rights to work in Australia;
Committed to an ongoing 2:2 or 2:1 roster working days and nights;
Mechanically minded individual, with a passion for mining;
Ability to maintain a safe worksite and proactively identify and report potential hazards;
Valid Manual Australian Drivers Licence;
National Police Clearance (valid within six months);
Valid and relevant certificates and licences (Working at Heights and First Aid preferred);
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug/Alcohol Screen.
