About the Role

Uber is looking for an outstanding sales manager to own the way as we grow our new verticals business. In this role, you will engage with senior execs at major potential retail partners to sell in Ubers' last mile delivery product (Uber Direct) as well as other products such as our on demand marketplace proposition (Uber Eats). You will be effectively presenting the value proposition of our on-demand delivery solutions and will be responsible for building new Enterprise business pipeline, forecasting opportunities and constructing territory and account plans to achieve your quota. You will be selling into multiple partners within Enterprise accounts and negotiating enterprise contracts for delivery services and also expanding discussions to introduce other products and services Uber can offer.

This role is in Ubers’ recently crafted New Verticals organisation. New verticals is tasked with building the next 10^10 business in Uber by accelerating on demand marketplace and delivery across all new categories with a large initial focus on Grocery, Liquor and Convenience. This is an outstanding opportunity to be part of a scale up within Uber with all the challenges and opportunities that come with forging a new path and hyper growth.
What You’ll Do:

Own the sales process for prospective Uber Direct merchants engaging Senior/C suite partners in some of the largest retailers across ANZ.
Identify and explore opportunities to sell in broader propositions and bring the best of Uber to your Enterprise partners.
Communicate the value of the Uber Direct to Enterprise prospects and customers.
Develop territory/account plans to grow the business and find opportunities.
Lead and coordinate end to end sales process for your book of business including qualification, education, pricing/quoting and contract negotiation.
Provide opportunity status by regularly updating SFDC, doing weekly forecasts and participating in quarterly business reviews.

What You'll Need:

A proven track record: You'll have demonstrated ability in B2B solution sales in; logistics, SaaS, retail, FMCG or supply chain.
Experience pitching, negotiating and closing deals at C suite level taking care of sophisticated products and multiple partners.
Customer obsession: You won't be expected to know everything (yet). However, you'll have a strong appetite to understand and learn the industries and customers you're targeting.
Knowledge of how to build and execute on territory and account plans.
Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills with a solution oriented approach to working with prospects and customers.
Previous experience in last-mile (shipper or carrier side) or ecommerce is a plus, but not required.
Willingness to sell new products and services - Uber Direct is a new business line for Uber, and you will act as the voice of the customer to our operations and product teams. You will collect, consolidate, and communicate deal requirements and product feature requests.
Proven track record to operate in an ambiguous and highly multifaceted environment.
