About the role: Reporting to the Associate Nurse Unit Manager Transit Lounge, as an Enrolled Nurse in the Transitional Care Unit, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals transitioning from acute care settings to the community or residential aged care facilities. This role requires exceptional clinical skills, a commitment to teamwork, and a genuine passion for improving the lives of others. Duties for the role will include:
Delivering skilled nursing care under the supervision of Registered Nurses.Monitoring and reporting on patient conditions.Assisting with activities of daily living.Promoting patient independence and supporting rehabilitation goals.Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions.About you: Registered or eligible for registration as an enrolled nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.In order to administer medicines, must have completed a Board-approved program of study which includes an administration of medicines unit.Additional Information: We also offer salary sacrifice benefits which provide the opportunity to save money by paying for some of your everyday expenses from your salary before it is taxed.The South Australian public sector promotes diversity and flexible ways of working including part-time.
