The Opportunity
The team here at Benalla Health is seeking suitably qualified Enrolled Nurses to join our caring team at the Morrie Evans Wing, which is a 30-bed residential care facility at Benalla Health. Positions are available on a Part Time basis (Up to 0.9 EFT Available).
As part of the role, you will:
Provide high quality nursing care to patients and supervise specialist care delivered by other staff.
Coordinate specialised aspects of care provided to patients on a daily basis.
Counsel patients and provide health education - especially in relation to the speciality.
Where appropriate, act as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their opinions are heard and their rights are respected.

The successful applicant (upon appointment) will undergo a National Police Records Check and Working with Children's Check for pre-employment safety screening purposes. The successful applicant will be able to show achievement of competencies of an Enrolled Nurse in accordance with criteria as prescribed by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and Benalla Health Mandatory Training Policy.
