About the area The School of Humanities offers a rich learning and research environment spanning, philosophy, history, languages, literary and cultural studies.
As well as undergraduate and postgraduate programs, the School supports an active research program.
The School offers an undergraduate major in French, German, Italian, and Spanish as well as a Bachelor of Modern Languages and Master of Translation Studies.
About the opportunity Coordinate and teach undergraduate and postgraduate units in Italian Studies, Translation, and related fields, Actively participate in the governance and academic community of the School and University, contributing to team meetings, program development, and promoting diversity and inclusion principles.
About you PhD in Italian Studies or other higher professional qualifications appropriate to their discipline.
Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative teaching approaches, assessment and materials for units and courses.
Demonstrated commitment to inclusive teaching practices to extend equality of opportunity for all learners.
Demonstrable experience of participation in education/research leadership in public engagements that promote research and/or education outcome, government and industry.
Demonstrated ability to relate well to staff and students at all levels and evidence of a commitment to equity and diversity principles.
