Latrobe Community Health Service and Cairnmillar Institute, in partnership with Quantum Support Services, deliver an exciting new and life-changing program called the Gippsland Supporting Recovery Program.
Commencing July 2024, this program provides access to long-term, free, trauma-informed psychological therapies for people who have experienced family, domestic, and sexual violence (FDSV).
The team comprises intake, engagement practitioners, and therapists.
The Engagement Practitioner engages participants to help them access services and overcome barriers on their recovery journey.
The Engagement Practitioner will hold one of the following specialisations: Lived ExperienceLGBTQIA+First NationsCultural DiversityAccessibilityTo be successful, you will require: Tertiary qualification or nearing completion in psychology, social work, counselling, or related fields.A current Employee Working with Children Check.Experience and/or an understanding of the family violence or mental health service system.For more information, please contact Louise Kennedy Young, Team Leader - Supporting Recovery on 0427 574 ***.
