Overview:
Full-time, Continuing position Salary Level HEW 7 + 17% Superannuation Based at the Melbourne CBD campus About the role As Engagement Coordinator, Galleries, you will provide project and team management for the planning and delivery of exhibitions, public and education programs, as well as gallery administration including marketing and communications.
You will identify, target, and engage audiences and promote RMIT Culture's exhibitions through participation and attendance of creatively produced programs and exhibitions.
Please note: You will be required to work some evenings and weekends as part of this role.
To be successful in this position, you will have: Demonstrated experience of at least five years coordinating and delivering projects in the creative industries or galleries environment, initiating and project managing exhibitions, education and public programs to build high levels of participation.
Demonstrated experience managing a small team in a gallery environment.
Demonstrated organisational and time management skills to deal with tight timelines, periods of pressure and complex logistics.
Experience in digital communication and media and building engaged digital communities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to liaise with management, staff, and external organisations to establish effective professional relationships.
Demonstrated ability to work closely and effectively as a member of a highly professional team.
Proven ability to use a range of systems, software and social media platforms that will support the requirements of the role.
