Our businesses include a wholesale plant nursery, packaging and assembly services, a cafe, retail stores and garden maintenance.We currently have an opportunity for a new Employment Coach to join our team located at Bayswater working within Knoxbrooke Pack + Assemble.ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYAs an Employment Coach, you will work 1:1 with our Supported Employees, providing guidance and support in their employment while undertaking packaging and production tasks.
Working in the Supported Employment Services Team, you will use your skills and experience in the disability sector to take a person-centred approach to assisting Supported Employees to maintain their employment, learn new skills, and manage behaviours that may impact productivity.
Key to this role is the willingness to lead by example and work alongside the supported employee in undertaking various factory and warehousing tasks.This is a permanent full-time position with hours of work being 8 - 4.30 Monday to Thursday and 8 - 2.30 on a Friday.ABOUT YOUWe're looking for people who are:Passionate and dedicated to empowering people with disabilities to be their bestExperienced working in a disability setting; either direct support, employment or educationGenuine in their commitment to our values and making a real differenceClear communicators – both written and verbalPositive, flexible and solutions focusedInterested in working in a hands-on role within a factory and warehousing setting.Also required for this role:Strong computer literacy skills – competent with Microsoft OfficeMinimum level 2 in First Aid (current or willing to undertake)Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination or authorised medical exemptionWillingness to undertake a NDIS Worker Screening CheckAn appropriate level of fitness to be able to undertake the physical nature of the roleWHAT WE CAN OFFER YOUGenerous Salary Packaging!
