THE ROLE We are recruiting for a new position within our business that is a unique and new style of position in the wider workforce. The job title is HR Business Partner and this role will be the conduit between the owners of Ethical Brand Co, the management team and the employees. Think of this position as the customer service role for the internal team.
This person will liaise with each team member in making sure that the needs of the business and its team are all met and feeding back information to the owners to be able to make change where needed.
This will be an exciting role that will offer a diverse range of daily tasks including but not limited to:
Facilitate all aspects of HR throughout the business, including: All aspects of recruitment Manage and organise employee inductions Manage staff rostering and identify issues Employee Relations compliance Health & Safety Facilitate annual role reviews Manage performance management throughout the business Liaison between the owners and the employees Coordinate quarterly team-building activities & annual conference and Xmas party Develop, implement & maintain business policies and procedures Evaluation of the operational side of the business needs and identifying where change is needed and liaising with the owners to facilitate this ESSENTIAL BUSINESS SKILLS Proven experience with people management/employee relations or similar role Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office suite Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Strong leadership and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Impeccable internal data maintenance and record keeping Excellent communicator and assessor Excellent understanding of general business DESIRED PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE Previous experience working within the HR field Previous experience working in or passion for health/hairdressing/beauty industry PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES Resilient and adaptable to change Confident and capable BENEFITS Excellent company culture with a commitment to social, environmental and community initiatives Commitment to employee well-being and work/life balance Full-time position, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm based at our purpose-built Coolum Beach Headquarters – no weekend work!
