This role will enhance the support of the Hitachi hydraulic lifting and locking system that has been developed for under chassis maintenance of a range of Mining Excavators across Australia.
The role will be responsible for the planning, operation, and maintenance of the Elevation System. Travelling with the system, while being supported by local branch resources, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient replacement of components such as swing bearings and track frames.
Reporting to the Elevation Systems Manager, you will: Effectively manage HCA's relationship with mine sites by delivering safe, high-quality supportCoordinate and supervise Elevation System projectsBe required to work in a team or autonomouslyProvide technical training and assistance to other branches within the organization, where necessary.To be a successful candidate in this role, you will require: Mechanical Trade Qualifications (essential to this role)Problem analysis and resolution skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsSafety-first culture with evidence of understanding of mine safetyAbility to travel all over Australia to support HCA customersHere at Hitachi, we believe that success comes from the partnership of our market-leading products and the quality of our people.
