About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced industrial electrician to ensure the smooth operation of our client's production facility.
As part of their team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing their equipment and systems, contributing to the success of their delicious products.
Working closely with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering Managers onsite, our ideal candidate will have electrical expertise and food manufacturing experience and a thorough understanding of Health and Safety regulations within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical systems and production equipment to minimize downtimeInstall and upgrade electrical systems, machinery, and equipment as required to improve production efficiencyWork with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and automated systems, ensuring optimal performance and quick resolution of issuesEnsure all electrical work complies with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policiesDiagnose and resolve electrical issues promptly to keep production running smoothlyMaintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs, safety checks, and equipment updates.Key Requirements: Industrial electrical experience within a food manufacturing or industrial environmentAustralian electrical trade qualification & valid electrical license Proficiency in PLCs, electrical troubleshooting, and automation systems is essentialExcellent hands-on diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced settingStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailKnowledge of safety systems, CMMS Systems Good communication skills and a desire to work as part of a teamA willingness to learn and apply new skills In return for your experience and expertise, on offer is an opportunity to work in a very flexible and supportive working environment that will cater to, and get to know you.
