Senior Electrician required for our client, a well-established M&E contractor based in West Yorkshire that specialises in projects and contracts within the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Electrical, and Renewables sector's.Senior Electrician Position RemunerationSalary 40,000 - 45,000, depending on experienceCompany van provided, with personal use available40 hour working week, Monday - FridayOvertime paid at 1.5x for anything over 8 hours, with additional rates agreed for any weekend/evening work undertakenDoor to door travel paid32 days holiday, including bank holidaysCompany pension providedEmployee discount scheme providedOur client offers a range of services within the M&E sector to clients across Yorkshire and the Humber from their offices based just outside Leeds, and are part of a large group of companies that has been in operation for over 40 years and turn over upwards of 40m per annum. They work largely within the commercial sector, with their client base including a number of schools, colleges, hospitals, and prisons.Senior Electrician Position ResponsibilitiesTravelling to a variety of commercial sites across Yorkshire and the Humber, completing planned/reactive electrical maintenanceCompleting regular electrical testing, including submitting all NICEIC reports to company QSSupervising engineers/electricians on site, including assisting with technical queries and liaising with clients/customersTaking part in regular training opportunities with the idea to eventually progress into a management position within the businessSenior Electrician Position Requirements5+ years' experience as an Electrician, ideally with a full electrical apprenticeship background including NVQ Level 3 & AM2 qualifications18th Edition essential, with JIB Gold Card & 2391 (or equivalent), desirable but not essentialExperience supervising and/or managing Electrician's on-site, with any project/contracts management experience desirableEither currently hold or confident in being able to get and Enhanced DBS certificate upon startingFull UK driving licenceBennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
