Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be a key member of the Farleigh Mill factory maintenance team, providing leadership and direction to a resolute team of maintenance personnel to ensure the physical integrity and operational efficiency of the plant through effective and safe management of maintenance resources, capital improvements and asset management / care.

To qualify, you should possess:
Proven track record in leading teams to deliver measurable outcomes in Sugar Milling and/or Heavy Industrial settings.Tertiary or Trade Qualifications in Electrical Trade, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience and a deep understanding of industrial maintenance practices.Proficiency in Microsoft Applications and computer literacy.Join us and bring your expertise to Mackay Sugar, where safety, teamwork, and achievement drive our success.
General Responsibilities Supervise crews, managing daily personnel activities as needed.Provide clear directions and ensure tasks are completed effectively.Support, coach, and develop employees.Ensure all activities adhere to site environmental, health, and safety policies.Foster relationships across the Mill to enhance factory reliability and production targets.Perform other duties to facilitate efficient maintenance and capital work execution throughout the Factory.
