Job Description
Turner & Townsend are seeking a Project Engineer with some design office experience to join the Natural Resources team in Perth. The ideal candidate will be degree qualified electrical engineer with experience in power systems design, procurement, and construction. The role will need to:
Collaborate and develop good relationships with clients and stakeholders internally and externally.
Provide office-based engineering support to the project.
Contribute to the development of design solutions.
Develop Scope of Work documentation, technical specifications, deliverables lists and other project documents.
Engage with consultants and EPC contractors for delivery of fit for purpose designs.
Review design documentation, including coordination of formal design review sessions.
Monitor best practice design and construction that is compliant with standards and adheres to safety in design principles.
Monitor, and ensure achievement, of project milestones and deliverables.
Develop or update project plans including such as budgets, schedules and progress reports.
Qualifications
- Full working rights and be currently in Western Australia.
- Open to a 12-month contract role with the possibility of extension.
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering.
- 5-15 years' experience in a similar role.
- Results driven but safety conscious mentality.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report writing skills.
- Self-motivated with an ability to work independently.
