The opportunity:
We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Electrical Instrumentation Supervisors to join our team in Gladstone in January 2025, for the Construction of the Gladstone Hydrogen Facility.
The ideal candidates will have experience supervising electrical and instrumentation installations in industrial or construction settings, along with a background in commissioning supervision and project management in hazardous or high-voltage environments.
Key skills include:
Proficiency in electrical and instrumentation installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
Strong leadership to guide and develop a team.
Solid project coordination abilities to manage schedules and resources.
The successful applicants will have:
Electrical Trade Certification or relevant qualifications in electrical work.
High Risk Work Licence, White Card, Valid Drivers Licence and Police Check.
Working at Heights Certification, Low Voltage Rescue and G1,8,9 and G2 or S1,2,3 Equivalent.
Previous roles involving commissioning supervision and project management in hazardous or high-voltage environments.
Knowledge of commissioning processes, including system calibration and functional testing.
Strong supervisory skills to lead and motivate a team, with experience in training and workforce development.
Ability to manage schedules, resources, and project timelines effectively.
Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations, especially in hazardous area installations.
Desirable:
Experience with high-voltage (HV) installations and maintenance, particularly in industrial environments.
Experience in project management or leading teams on urban residential or industrial electrical projects.
Specialized Training in switchboard installation, HV switching, or distribution network upgrades.
Hazardous Area Certification for work in potentially explosive or dangerous environments.
Electrical Instrumentation Cert III and IV.
