The Role
As the Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for problem-solving, developing solutions, and leading continuous improvement in plant and equipment performance. Key duties include:
Identifying and resolving technical issues. Overseeing equipment overhauls and upgrades. Ensuring compliance with electrical regulations. Conducting root cause analysis to prevent equipment failures. Key Criteria
- Electrical Engineering degree or Trade Certification with at least 10 years of experience
- Proven project management experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in mining
- Experience with underground mining equipment, operations, and maintenance is highly valued
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to meet performance goals aligned with plant and company standards
- Proficient in MS Office suite
- Current Queensland manual C Class driver's license
