Job Title: Electrical Design Draughtsperson Function: Engineering Reporting to: Engineering Director Scope: Clarke Energy Ltd Location: Knowsley with UK travel as required Job Purpose: To provide design and draughting support to ensure consistently high quality and timely delivery of electrical documentation. Majority of time spent: Creating electrical drawings.
Responsibilities:
Develop the general arrangements included in a tender into a full suite of design deliverables including:
General single line diagrams.
Detailed wiring lists, interface lists, components schedules, block diagrams, containment drawings, termination schedules, etc.
Liaise with relevant Clarke Energy personnel, within the Engineering and other functions, on all aspects of the projects developing design.
Coordinate with sub-contractors to resolve design and/or implementation issues as they arise.
Support Site Engineers during the installation phase of the project to resolve issues as necessary.
Attend and contribute to HAZOP, risk assessment, and design reviews as necessary.
Conduct site surveys to fully capture all project-related data.
Perform 'As-Built' installation surveys necessary to amend construction issued deliverables.
Ensure full adherence to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality management policies and procedures in all work undertaken.
Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills:
Good IT skills - Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
AutoCAD (2009+).
AutoCAD P&ID, Autodesk Navis Review 2010.

Previous years experience in designing and detailing 2D industrial/process electrical installations.
BTech in Electrical Engineering or similar.
Desirable:
HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or similar.
Knowledge of 3D solid modelling.
Knowledge of packages such as AutoCAD P&ID, Autodesk Navis Review 2010.
