Comcare's Technology and Information Management Team facilitates the development and implementation of organisational Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) equipment, services, and related policies to support the delivery of business outcomes.
The ICT Cyber Security and Assurance Unit provides assurance around Cyber Security, Information Management, internal ICT governance functions such as audit support, compliance reviews, and all other related activities to ensure Comcare technology-based systems are being run in accordance with whole of government standards.
Overview of the Role
The Assistant Director of ICT Assurance and Risk will work to deliver ICT outcomes specifically by developing and implementing strategies and framework around risk management, governance, compliance and ICT business continuity.
This role requires a meticulous document writer who enjoys writing and reviewing reports, creating and reviewing detailed policy and framework documents.
This role will primarily manage the ICT risk and governance component related to audit reviews, technology projects and own the ICT risk register.
This role will require working closely with Technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organisation, vendors and assist with contract management.
Develop and implement strategies and framework around ICT Risk management, Governance and business continuity.
Mandatory Qualifications/Experience
Advanced policy and report writing skills Eligibility and Conditions of Employment
Character clearance (police records check).
Health clearance.
Six months probationary period for new engagements.
Ability to obtain and maintain a baseline Security Clearance.
Special Conditions: Occasional interstate travel may be required.
