Essential Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent as recognized by the Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).
A current and valid blue card.
First Aid Certificate.
Skills and Attributes:
Solid experience as an Educational Leader.
A comprehensive understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standard to ensure best practices.
Ability to guide, mentor and support a team of educators, fostering a culture of professional reflection and continuous improvement.
Experience in planning, implementing and evaluating high-quality educational programs.
Demonstrated capacity to reflect on practices, seek feedback and engage in ongoing professional learning.
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with families, children, colleagues and the broader community.
Proven track record as an effective leader or mentor in early childhood settings.
Ensuring all children have equitable access to learning opportunities, catering to diverse needs.
Participation and ability to research and engage in community networking, ongoing training and professional development to remain updated with sector changes.
Capability to use Storypark for documentation, communication and planning.
