We have two employment opportunities for Education Assistants (Secondary) at either a part-time to full-time position at our Harrisdale campus.
About the Role
Education Assistants will be responsible for assisting the Teacher in a range of general and classroom duties, summarised as follows:
Hold a Cert III or IV in Education Support or equivalent.Assist in the delivery of planned education programs.Preparation and maintenance of the classroom and outdoor environments.Preparation and maintenance of classroom resources.Demonstrate sensitivity and care to students' needs and capabilities.Possess an ability to promote an environment of dynamic, active and genuine learning.Be highly discreet with a mature understanding of the importance of confidentiality.Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with staff, students, parents, the general public, and professional networks.Show outstanding organization and time management skills.Ability to work collaboratively as a team member and independently.Supportive of the Christian ethos of the College.It is our staff who make the difference!
