Type : Part-Time Term : Temporary Position Details Education Assistant – Part-time (0.6 FTE), Temporary Founded by the Dominican Sisters in 1955, St Dominic's is a Christ-centred co-educational single stream Catholic primary school catering for children from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Education Assistant to join our team in 2025.
This is a temporary 0.6 FTE part-time position (with a possibility of moving to 0.8 FTE) commencing 1 January 2025 and concluding 31 December 2025.
Selection Criteria • Be prepared to support the Catholic ethos in the performance of their duties.
• Have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Willingness to work under the direction of the classroom teacher.
• An ability to develop positive relationships and an understanding of the developmental needs of young children.
• Be flexible, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Experience working with children from diverse cultural backgrounds and with complex learning needs is highly desirable.
Qualifications Required • A Certificate III or IV Teacher Assistant Qualification.
• Accreditation to Work in a Catholic School or working towards.
