Early Years Teachers Job Overview:NextGen are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in nurturing and developing young children's learning and development in a safe and stimulating environment. This position requires a strong understanding of child development principles, creativity, and the ability to engage children through play-based learning.Roles: Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for children and their families.Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development in accordance with early years frameworks.Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence and self-esteem.Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care and education are maintained.Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress and any concerns that may arise.Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment that meets health and safety regulations.Requirements:A recognised qualification (QTS/PGCE)A strong knowledge of Phonics frameworksPrevious experience working with young children in an educational setting is highly desirable.Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and child development principles.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and colleagues.A creative approach to teaching, with the ability to engage children through innovative activities.Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children are crucial for success in this role.About NextGen: NextGen Teachers is a leading Education Recruitment Agency working with numerous schools in and around the West Yorkshire area.
