About the role Our Client is a community-focused early childhood education and care service catering to children aged 3 to 5 years.
As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
You will join a passionate and dedicated team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality early education aligned with the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework.
This role offers the opportunity to support children's development through engaging programs, foster positive relationships with families, and collaborate with a supportive community.
Please note this is a permanent part time position with additional shifts often on offer during the fortnight.
After April 2025, 3-4 shifts will be available per week to allow for maternity cover.
The role commences on Monday 20th January 2025.
Duties Design and implement developmentally appropriate programs and activities that align with the Early Years Learning Framework, fostering children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Cultivate positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues, promoting a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate and confidential records, and contributing to the planning of their ongoing development and learning journey.
Work effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality education and care, sharing ideas, feedback, and responsibilities to achieve the service's goals.
About you Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care Availability to work additional shifts At least 1 year experience in working with 3 to 5 year old children in a service Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework High standard of written and verbal communication skills How to apply Sound interesting?
