Carey Baptist College Harrisdale is requesting a qualified EA and IEP Coordinator for a fixed term 12 month part time contract, commencing January 2025.
About the Role
This contract is for a fixed term part time position with an FTE 0.4 onwards to 0.6. The IEP and EA Coordinator is responsible to the Assistant Principal Pastoral Care. The Coordinator role is to advocate for our students with disabilities by coordinating the IEP program in Secondary school, applying for AISWA funding, and managing the EA team.
Coordinate the support programs for students on IEPs (AISWA funded for disabilities).Oversee the distribution of EA support to IEP students.Chair and manage IEP meetings.Ensure IEP documents are stored professionally.Ensure that all applications for AISWA disability funding are submitted.Lead inductions on the IEP process.Collaborate with teachers to discuss possible modifications to lessons, assessments or programs to accommodate the student/s.Contribute to the preparation of the NCCD data.Provide support for the transition processes for students from year 6 into year 7 to ensure IEP needs are scheduled.If you are committed and passionate about making a difference, we invite you to apply to submit your application.
