We are looking for a switched-on individual with initiative, flair & personality, who has extensive experience in a busy functions environment.
You will have significant senior supervisory experience in a busy functions or banqueting environment – ideally with tertiary study to support your application.
You will thrive in a dynamic environment, with the ability to manage your responsibilities autonomously.
You will be held accountable for your performance – and you will relish the opportunity to prove you are the right person for the role.

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes: Minimum of two years' experience as a supervisor in a busy Banqueting environment Proven success in overseeing large and VIP functions Significant Food and Beverage operational knowledge including Kitchen operations and FOH Operations and Bar Operations Detailed knowledge of Food and Beverage setups, including VIP table sets, large scale catering sets and bar operational requirements Passion for exceeding customers' expectations Strong attention to detail Must have strong staff management experience, with the ability to operate autonomously Exceptional grooming standards The ability to adapt quickly in a fast paced environment Approved Managers (mandatory) The ability to live and work in Australia Key Responsibilities: Be an active member of the management team to oversee a very busy high end function centre Oversee allocated functions and responsibilities according to directives given by senior management Manage teams toward the successful operation of all aspects of functions held within the complex and as required for off-site events.
Support the Functions Floor manager and Functions Manager in the successful planning and execution of all operations within this venue Prepare weekly and monthly reports detailing financial efficacy, and control of all business costs in line with KPI's provided by senior management Maintain venue presentation at the highest standard at all times We'll offer the right person a great working environment with a friendly team & dynamic atmosphere.
