Position Summary:TP Human Capital is seeking a skilled Document Writer/Document Controller to join our client's team on a short-term contract basis to assist in overhauling their document management system. The successful candidate will be responsible for updating document management procedures, formalizing document structures, and standardizing templates. Additionally, they will review and assess existing documentation, identify gaps, and prioritize areas for improvement.Key Responsibilities:Revise and enhance existing procedures related to document management.Develop new procedures as needed to improve efficiency and compliance.Create and standardize a document hierarchy (e.g., Policy > Procedure > SOPs).Develop and implement templates for each document type (Policy, Procedure, SOPs, etc.).Assess current documentation to identify inconsistencies and areas for improvement.Standardize and update existing documents to align with new procedures and templates.Review existing document control records to determine missing or outdated information.Work with relevant departments to identify gaps and update records accordingly.Collaborate with various teams to identify priority documents for review.Develop a list of documents that require updates or creation.Support the creation of new documents and assist in completing the review of existing ones.Ensure all documentation meets organizational standards and requirements.Qualifications:Proven experience in document writing, document control, or a similar role.Strong understanding of document management systems and best practices.Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.Proficiency in using document management software and tools.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
