LAPM specialises in providing top-tier law firm management and services to our clients. Based in the vibrant Gold Coast, we are a rapidly growing company with a strong reputation across Australia. We are passionate about delivering a seamless experience for our clients and are currently seeking a Document Automation Specialist who is driven by high standards to help deliver automation solutions for law firms.
The Role The role is perfect for an individual who is willing to work from our Bundall office full time and eager to develop their skills and advance their careers in the IT and Legal Services fields.
In this dynamic role, you will be at the forefront of automating and streamlining precedent documents to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the legal process for law firms. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Develop and implement automation solutions for legal precedents, templates, and workflows.Collaborate with law firms to scope, implement and refine automation projects.Create and maintain documentation and training materials for automated processes.Provide technical support and training to legal teams on the use of automated tools and resources.Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in document automation and the legal industry.Job Requirements To be considered for the role, a commitment to work from our Bundall office in a full-time capacity is required.
Our ideal candidate is a tech-savvy individual who enjoys problem-solving and finding innovative solutions to help law firms work smarter, not harder. You will have:
A Bachelor's degree (or studying) in Law, Information Technology, Programming, or a related field.Proven experience in the legal field or legal technology, preferably in document automation.Experience with legal and automation software such as LEAP Legal Software, SmarterDrafter, Smokeball,ActionStep and/or Practice Evolve.Experience and working knowledge of Microsoft products including styles, bookmarks and templates.Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and a professional manner.What We Offer Supportive Team: Enjoy a friendly and supportive work environment.Career Development: Grow your career with LAPM's development opportunities and accredited training.
