About the Role
We're looking for a dedicated and adaptable Dispatch & Customer Service Coordinator to join our team!
This role provides essential operational, logistical and support to our St John Support Drivers, helping ensure seamless community transport services for both funded and non-funded clients and partner agencies.
In this role, you will manage 'on the day' tasks involving our fleet service and drivers, handling last-minute changes such as staff adjustments, unexpected traffic, weather delays, client incidents and job allocation.
This position requires strong multitasking abilities, as you'll be working across multiple systems to manage real-time adjustments.
Your duties will also include communicating regularly with our drivers and customer care team to share updates, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of service quality.
You'll need to work efficiently to optimise resources and maintain a high standard of service despite any challenges that arise.

Experience in call centers and dispatch roles: Experience in client transport dispatch is highly desirable.

Strong communication skills: Ability to liaise professionally with a diverse client base, including clients with disabilities and older adults.
Exceptional multitasking ability: You can manage multiple communication streams effectively.
Teamwork skills: Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Working with Children Blue Card (current or ability to obtain one) NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) or ability to obtain one Criminal History Check (current or ability to obtain one) Applications:
Full-time position (38 ordinary hours per week) between Monday and Friday
Roster: 6.00am - 2.00pm
