This role reports to an Area Manager, who supports and trains you to ensure you deliver exceptional care.About the Role: In-home care assisting and enabling participants with daily tasks including meal preparation, personal care, and administering medication.Assisting with domestic duties around the home.Supporting clients to engage and participate in their community.Support and enable participants to achieve their goals.About You:Minimum 1 plus years of experience in the disability sector.Valid CPR & First Aid certificates.Experience across a range of disabilities.Minimum Certificate III in Disability or similar/higher.Good communication skills.Empathy for the issues facing people with a disability.Strong belief in the principles of Person Centred Practices.Highly organised and proactive.NDIS workers check.NSW Driver's License (or similar) plus own car is desirable.Our benefits:Flexible working environmentBuddy shifts with experienced Disability Support PractitionersLearning and development opportunitiesOpportunities to transition into Permanent Part-Time employment.Support & mentor people with Disabilities and make a differenceAttractive and Competitive Pay Rates (SCHADS Award)Opportunities to move into permanent rolesHow to apply & next steps:To apply for an opportunity in our growing team, click on the "Apply Now" button and attach your resume and cover letter outlining your skills and experience.
