About the role
Evergreen Support Services is seeking a passionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team in Campbelltown, NSW.
As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities, helping them to live independently and achieve their personal goals.
This is a casual position, offering the flexibility to work around your schedule.
What you'll be doing Assisting clients with daily activities, helping our participants engage within the community.Accompanying clients to appointments, social activities, and community outings.Encouraging and supporting clients to develop life skills and independence.Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records.Collaborating with the wider support team to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.What we're looking for Previous experience working in the disability or aged care sector, preferably in a similar role.Experience with psychosocial disabilities.A fit and active individual who enjoys sports is highly preferred, but not required.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent.A current First Aid certificate and a valid driver's licence.What we offer
