Disability Support Worker

Our mission is to enhance the lives of people with a disability. We help provide opportunities for new experiences and community involvement in a safe and nurturing environment.

The services we provide are:

- Impact Program - Assisting young people with disability make the necessary life transitions from school to adulthood.
- Camp Adventures - Giving people with disability the chance to try exciting new experiences outside of their everyday life.
- Respite Care and Community Access - Giving Carers the opportunity to take a break, and helping with community services and activities.
- Getaways, Cruises and International - Providing exciting new experiences and adventures.

What we require from you is patience, an eagerness to learn and help, and of course the ability to show empathy and resilience. You will be working flexible hours on a casual basis.

Successful applicants will require:

- Certificate III/IV in Disability (preferred but not essential)
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts including weekdays, weekends, sleep overs and school holidays
- Show initiative in completing duties without having to be asked.
- Work independently of supervision
- Have a current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Blue Card (or be willing to apply)
- Hold a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle with insurance cover.

Previous experience and training is preferred but not essential. On going employment is available for the right employee.

**Salary**: From $28.95 per hour

- Day shift
- Flexible hours
- Monday to Friday
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- Australian driver's licence (required)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
