About the role: Exciting career opportunities exist for passionate Disability Support Workers committed to supporting persons with a disability to live their best life.
Based in Caulfield and surrounding suburbs across:
Daily Living Support Respite & Short Term Accommodation Disability Houses Within your new role: Establish and maintain a supportive environment for people using a person-centred active support model. Facilitate and support clients in all aspects of daily living. Promote opportunities for skill development and community access. Contribute to the plans and outcomes for clients, programs, and activities. Maintain effective interpersonal communications with clients, colleagues, and family members. Regularly update client reports and relevant records. What you will bring: Certificate IV in Disability or Certificate III in Individual Support. Prior experience supporting persons with disability. Current Victorian Drivers License and reliable car (Essential). Proven understanding of person-centred approach and positive behavior supports. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure, work independently and as part of a team. NDIS Worker Clearance (Essential). Working with Children Check WWCC (Essential).
