About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Disability Services Manager to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated team of professionals and make a significant impact in the lives of NDIS participants.
As the Disability Services Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of exceptional support services, ensuring compliance with the NDIS framework, and driving the continuous improvement of our services. You will lead a team of disability support workers, manage daily operations, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality care.
What you'll be doing Manage and oversee the daily operations of disability support services, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.Ensure compliance with NDIS standards, regulations, and organizational policies.Develop and implement strategies to improve participant satisfaction and service delivery.Conduct internal audits, prepare reports, and analyze service performance data.Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to a team of disability support workers.Foster a person-centered care approach that promotes participant independence and well-being.Handle incidents and complaints professionally, ensuring timely resolution.Collaborate with internal teams, including HR and Compliance, to ensure staff are well-equipped to meet the needs of participants.What we're looking for Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as disability studies, social work or community servicesExtensive experience in the disability services sector, preferably in a management or leadership roleDemonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop a teamStrong understanding of the NDIS and other relevant legislative and regulatory frameworksExcellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skillsCommitment to person-centered, empowering and inclusive approaches to disability supportPassion for making a positive difference in the lives of individuals with disabilitiesWhat We Offer: A supportive and collaborative team environment.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Competitive salary package.17.5% annual leave loadingOngoing support, training and developmentFree confidential Counselling services for you and your familyPlease note, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
