The Public Sector Commission is on a mission to create an innovative and future fit public sector for all Western Australians.
This includes work in the Strategic Leadership and Talent division that is critical to effective and efficient leadership in the sector.
We now need an innovative and critical thinker experienced in leading initiatives in complex environments across multiple teams, and driving high performance with an emphasis on quality and continuous improvement.
You'll set the strategic direction over the medium to long term for sectorwide leadership and talent initiatives; and the management of the Senior Executive Service (SES) cohort.
You'll lead work in recruitment, management and remuneration of senior public sector executive positions including chief executive officers.
With the position having both a strategic and operational focus, you'll be adept at leading and managing teams in both spheres.
You'll have a background or qualification in organisational psychology, leadership, organisational development or human resource management.
