Director - Social Inclusion and RecoveryExecutive Services are looking for a Social Inclusion and Recovery Director to join their team. The Director of Social Inclusion and Recovery will lead the Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Service (the service) in the provision of a consumer-centred approach to care through social inclusion and recovery, and drive participation in local, state and national mental health reform. Oversight and implementation of initiatives and strategies that promote social inclusion and a recovery focussed service, guided by the current Queensland Plan for Mental Health – Better Care Together, National Standards for Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs, and other relevant National and State Plans.Provide strategic leadership, direction and authoritative expert advice to the Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Executive on significant issues in relation to Social Inclusion and Recovery, including consumer and carer participation.Coordinate and contribute to the preparation of advice about consumer and carer related mental health policy, planning and funding to areas of Metro South Addiction and Mental Health and other State and National forums.Our values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Engagement and Excellence, shape our culture within Metro South Health.
