The branch is responsible for providing advice on state revenue matters, including state taxes and Commonwealth-State financial relations, as well as providing accurate and timely advice on economic conditions and economic forecasts. The Branch contributes to the Government's economic policy and provides advice on economic strategy with the aim of maximizing economic opportunities for South Australia.It also plays a key role in supporting the Treasurer, Under Treasurer, and Deputy Under Treasurer for meetings of Heads of Treasury and for meetings of the Board of Treasurers and Council on Federal-Financial Relations. The Branch also provides the Secretariat for the Board of Treasurers.About youAs the Director of Revenue and Intergovernmental Relations, you will have a strong knowledge and understanding of state taxes and Commonwealth-State financial relations. You will have substantial experience in policy development and quantitative modeling, using these skills to provide high-level strategic advice.
