Hendrickson is looking for an experienced Director of Finance to support their strategic growth plans across the Asia Pacific region. This role will partner closely with the Vice-President - APAC.Hendrickson is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of medium and heavy-duty mechanical, elastomeric and air suspensions, integrated and non-integrated axle and brake systems, to the commercial transportation industry. Founded in Chicago in 1913, Hendrickson has recently celebrated 50 years of operations in Australia and continues its strategic growth through the APAC region.DescriptionThe Director of Finance - APAC is a strategic and commercial partner to the Vice President - APAC, responsible for the planning, directing, and reporting for the performance of the region. This role will provide critical decision support over a broad range of commercial issues to meet the Division's strategic business objectives.You will oversee the running of financial and accounting systems for APAC, including statutory obligations, risk management, and providing finance leadership to personnel located across the region.You will participate in the preparation of strategic objectives, develop tactical plans, and advise on the financial implications of operational and commercial decisions, in conjunction with Commercial Managers across the APAC region.You will also take the lead on a variety of projects across APAC, pertaining to systems, inventory management, warehousing, supply agreements, and customer contracts.ProfileIdeal Background: Candidates with experience in Executive Finance roles ideally from large multinational companies will be best suited to this role. You will be responsible for finance across the region and have a critical say in commercial decisions. To be successful, you will require a deep understanding of interdepartmental dynamics in a multinational corporation.Technical skills: You will require a broad grounding in finance and accounting, complemented with advanced stakeholder management and business partnering skills to support business strategy development and execution.
