Your role within Corporate Services will support the department in providing services related to the built environment, such as setting policy and standards, administering legislation and codes, researching industry trends, and partnering with stakeholders to influence the building industry.
The work you do helps someone every day, and that means the world to us.What You Will Be DoingLead a multi-disciplinary Information Management team with a department-wide focus on uplifting capacity and capability regarding Information Security, Data Management, Analytics, and Records Management.Lead the identification, prioritisation, and implementation of targeted investments in technology and process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the current Information Management system.Implement governance and reporting structures to provide the department's executive with greater visibility of Information Management performance.Provide technical expertise and advice to senior leaders and business areas on the facilitation and design of new policies, perform gap analysis, and monitor the department's Information Management maturity.Develop and implement the delivery of fit-for-purpose Information Management training and awareness programs to build the department's capability in contemporary Information Management.Ensure that an effective Information Security Management System (ISMS) governance framework is in place to support operational implementation, aimed at protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the department's information assets, and champion these initiatives at a senior leadership level.What We Are Looking ForWe seek the person best suited for this role, considering your knowledge, skills, experience, potential for development, and future contributions.
