Comprising salary between $174378.00 - $174378.00 p.a employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%)

The Director of Clinical Governance will partner with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to enhance the organisational governance for the delivery of safe quality care across all Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service (TCHHS) clinical services and influence health service partners in the delivery of safe and quality driven services.
The Director of Clinical Governance is responsible for the portfolios of Accreditation, Clinical Governance, Patient Safety and Quality, Infection Prevention and Control, and Policy and Procedure Management. The Director Clinical Governance reports operationally and professionally to the Executive Director Medical Services and will maintain a close working relationship with the Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery.
Responsibilities:
Enhance organisational governance for safe quality care delivery.
Oversee Accreditation, Clinical Governance, Patient Safety and Quality, Infection Prevention and Control, and Policy and Procedure Management.
Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team and health service partners.
