We are seeking an exceptional executive to join our Transport & Infrastructure team as the Director of Clients & Growth.
This pivotal role offers the opportunity to lead our precontracts and work-winning strategies for transport clients, focusing on priority, strategic, and nationally significant pursuits and proposals.
About the Role: As the Director of Clients & Growth, you will be accountable for tracking and reporting on pipeline progress, leading pipeline management meetings, and overseeing precontracts governance processes.
You will assist Directors and Pursuit Leads in coordinating bid resourcing, support teaming and partnering decisions, and ensure coordination with the Director Delivery Clients for transport pursuits.
Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying and responding to global work-winning opportunities, supporting growth markets, and engaging with Client and Growth leads across various business units.
Key Responsibilities: Lead precontracts governance processes, including executive engagement and approvals.
Support Directors and Pursuit Leads with submission strategies, win themes, and bid resourcing.
Foster strong client relationships and drive external engagement by identifying and responding to global work-winning opportunities, supporting growth markets, and collaborating with Client and Growth leads across diverse business units.
Coordinate with the Director Delivery Clients for transport pursuits and business-wide contractor initiatives.
Identify and respond to global work-winning opportunities in collaboration with the T&I leadership team.
Engage with Client and Growth leads in other WSP AU business groups to identify and communicate key multi-discipline opportunities.
Lead T&I regional work-winning pipeline meetings and actions, ensuring accuracy and currency of pipeline data.
Coordinate Global WSP T&I client activities, participating in Global Diamond, Platinum, Gold, and Silver Client activities.
Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
15+ years of experience in Business Development and/or Management.
Proven experience in a formal leadership role, developing and implementing major strategic client relationships.
Demonstrable experience with major high-value sales in a technically complex environment, including leading pursuits and bids.
Strong commercial acumen and understanding of various contracting models and teaming approaches.
