Job Summary Due to expansion, our Australian business is currently seeking a senior executive to assist with the structuring and distribution of our wholesale and retail investment strategies into the local wealth channel. The successful candidate will have responsibility over a national client/prospect base encompassing a range of Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs), wealth management groups, private banks, family offices, and High Net-Worth (HNW) individuals. The candidate will be based in Melbourne and report to the Head of Australian Wealth Distribution. Primary Responsibilities Identifying and pursuing business opportunities within the desired channels, fostering long-term relationships with key stakeholders. Conducting regular client meetings, presentations, and seminars to educate and support clients in relation to Barings' investment offering. Providing tailored investment solutions and superior service to meet the needs of clients and prospects. Collaborating closely with investment teams and other stakeholders to clearly articulate investment strategies and value propositions effectively. Ongoing monitoring of market trends and competitor activities to identify potential distribution opportunities. Assisting with the management of national roadshows, industry convention engagement, or similar events. Domestic or international travel as necessary. Qualifications Proven experience (5+ years) in a similar role, with a track record of successfully meeting sales targets. Strong understanding of investment products, financial markets, and portfolio construction concepts. A deep knowledge of public and private Fixed Income, and Real Estate asset classes is preferred. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex investment concepts clearly and effectively. Strategic thinker with a proactive and organised approach to business development and client relationship management. Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field. Postgraduate qualifications such as a CFA, CAIA, MBA or Master's degree preferred. RG146 compliant.
