Director - Ainslie Out of School Hours CareAinslie Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) is a not-for-profit organisation, overseen by Ainslie School P&C Association and managed by a volunteer Parent Sub Committee.The service aims to provide quality, affordable care for all primary school age children (5–12 years of age) attending Ainslie School in a safe, supportive and fun environment. Our Before and After School Care service offers care for children who attend Ainslie School. The Vacation Care Program is offered to all school age children during ACT Government school holiday periods.About the Role:This role is a full-time position with 38 hours per week, paying 20% above Award wages. This position will commence in January 2025.The ideal candidate will manage the provision of a high quality Out of School Hours Care program to ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) while working within the Service Philosophy, policies and procedures.Position Responsibilities:Responsible for the overall management and administration of the Service.Maintain day-to-day accounts, annual budgets, and handle all administrative matters.Lead a team of 30 educators, including staff rostering, recruitment and professional development.Ensure Ainslie OSHC adheres to all relevant regulations and statutory requirements.Develop and maintain centre policies and procedures.Ensure the maintenance of accurate child attendance records.Liaise with families, Ainslie School and the Ainslie P&C committee as appropriate.Participate in professional development opportunities as required and keep up to date with current industry trends.Demonstrate an enthusiastic and positive approach to working with children and staff.Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team.Excellent interpersonal, organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.Demonstrated leadership skills in managing and training staff, as well as fostering a strong team environment.Minimum Qualifications:Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification.First Aid and Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Certificate.Working with Vulnerable People registration.Sound understanding of the National Quality Framework, and My Time, Our Place (The School Age Curriculum Framework).Additional Benefits:20% Above the Children's Services Award rate.Flexible working arrangements with work-from-home allowances.Flexibility to work block shifts or split shifts.Access to Employee Assistance Program for guidance and counselling.How to Apply:Please forward a current resume with at least 2 employment referees and a letter of application outlining your experience and knowledge to ****** application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?Do you have a current Working With Children (WWC) Check?Have you worked in a role which requires a sound understanding of the National Quality Framework?Do you have experience in administration?
