The Director is accountable to the Executive Director, Budget and Performance for the provision of high level strategic, financial and policy advice on issues relating to the delivery of government services, fiscal strategy and financial management in the state.
The Director leads a high performing team and will actively contribute to the monitoring and reporting on the performance of agencies against the state budget and will provide advice on the effectiveness of government programs.

The Budget and Performance Branch (BAP branch) manages the annual State Budget process and leads the production of the State Budget papers.
We provide advice to inform the Government's fiscal strategy, including on agency budgetary and financial issues, and Commonwealth-State relations, and we monitor the financial performance of government agencies.
We assist the Government of South Australia to achieve public sector performance improvement, improve budget and financial management processes and provide quality advice to the government designed to strengthen state finances.
About You As Director Account Management, you will have strong experience in providing strategic, financial and policy advice on issues relating to the delivery of government services, fiscal strategy and financial management.
As leader of the Account Management Team, you will have a strong leadership ability with a demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire others to work together as a team to achieve objectives.
