At Jetstar, we are seeking a strong candidate to take the lead role in helping us enhance our Online Booking capabilities. As the Digital Product Owner – Jetstar Connect, you will shape and deliver enhancements to our booking domain which our diverse customer base will use and love, in ways that also work for our business. You will work closely with the Senior Product Leads, Interline Airline partners, Technology Partners and Jetstar team members, taking responsibility for delivering within our GROW Business Case.
The core responsibilities of this role will be: Define and execute on the product vision and roadmap with Product Leads.Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to complete product discovery, planning, prioritisation of development, while managing the deliverable product features with our Airline technology Partners.Identify important dependencies, and actively manage these to protect delivery.Mitigate risks and manage issues/blockers.Build and manage key stakeholder relationships, to ensure stakeholders are kept up to date on project status and influence to achieve project outcomes.To be considered, key skills will include: 3+ years of experience in a Digital Product Owner role or similar (e.g. Senior BA/Producer, Channel Manager) in the online/digital space.Strong understanding of product management, design, and analysis principles.In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, with a proven track record of working as a Product Owner, catering to the preferences of diverse customer segments.Experience working for an airline, major travel agent chain or travel technology providers. Preferred.Previous experience with Navitaire reservation system. Preferred but not essential.Experience with Project Management applications such as MS Project, Smartsheet.Detail-oriented with superior communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex ideas and concepts to diverse audiences.Creative thinker able to approach product from both strategic and tactical view, keeping the customer front of mind.Ability to analyse problems, map processes, identify gaps, visualise and communicate potential solutions.Ability to thrive in a team environment, fostering collaboration and effective teamwork among cross-functional, cross-location and cross-cultural teams.Excellent project leadership, risk management, and time management skills.Self-driven, proactive, and able to multitask effectively under tight deadlines, keeping in mind the importance of timely delivery for our diverse customer segments.Applications close on the 29th of September
