The Opportunity The Digital Product Manager you will be responsible for defining, prioritising, and managing the team-level backlog of features and enablers for Medibank's digital web and app channels, to drive commercial and customer outcomes in line with the broader company vision, strategic objectives and OKRs.
You will act as the domain expert within the team and will be responsible for building deep domain knowledge of the business, customer, and channel performance, working in partnership with the broader Digital Product Team and leads from engineering, design, and the business to ensure their roadmap is customer centred.
For this role the Digital Product Manager will be working on the chatbot function that operates across all of Medibank's customer portals.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of Medibank's chatbot functionality and incorporate new technology including automation and AI.
Your impact Accountability for the commercial performance of Medibank's public websites, including key online sales journeys, conversion rate optimisation, customer engagement/satisfaction and user experience.
Defining team-level user stories/features/enablers in collaboration with design, engineering, and business SMEs.
This includes breaking down features into detailed use cases, evaluating value vs effort, facilitating ideation and customer validation activities as required.
Managing product backlog, including on-going prioritisation, and grooming to ensure a balanced mix of discovery activities, design and delivery-ready work is maintained at all times.
Proactively engaging with design, engineering, marketing, and other business stakeholders to ensure digital content and experience solutions are clearly communicated.

So, who is this incredible human?
You will have a minimum of 3+ years' experience working as a Digital Product Manager within a cross-functional, agile delivery team.
You have proven experience in digital product discovery, design, delivery, and optimisation techniques; including opportunity sizing, ideation and MVP definition, customer testing/validation and backlog management.
Key to your success in this role will be your ability to manage and maintain strong relationships with key members of the digital production stakeholder group and the broader Medibank business.
Any form of experience working with chatbots or automated responses would be ideal but not essential.
Must have skills Demonstrated ability leading digital product strategy, including discovery and delivery with a cross-functional team (UX, Design, BA, and Developers) from high-level feature definition through to execution and go to market.
Creative and analytical problem-solving skills and a curiosity to learn, including the ability to uncover and understand technology requirements and capabilities.
Understanding of technical platforms and principles, with a demonstrated ability of working closely with solution architects, technical business analysts and developers to uncover, understand and shape technology requirements and capabilities as part of product definition.
Exceptional people leadership, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on being able to clearly articulate product decisions.
