Collaborate with the nation's best storytellers to grow news traffic!
Working alongside our digital editors, you will help manage the homepage of dailytelegraph.com.au and be responsible for sourcing, curating and ranking news.Use your competitive nature, skill, instinct and headline testing programs to ensure every story, image and video has a sell and image that maximises its ability to attract eyeballs and resonate with the audience.Use picture and image editing platforms to create the most engaging images for stories and videos.Write and curate digital newsletters that promote key new stories and drive audience engagement.Demonstrate excellent news judgement and an innate understanding of what readers want as well as a sound knowledge of media and defamation law.You'll work directly with our team of news editors and reporters, as well as the social and off-platform teams.
That means you'll need to be a great people person, helping the team meet their KPIs, growth and development plans.You'll need to have your eye on the news of the day, and a head for a great story - you'll play a critical role in setting the day's agenda with the editorial leadership team.Who are you?
