Job Description

An exciting time to join the Starcom agency and a great opportunity to work across some of Australia’s most well-known brands and biggest advertisers. As the Digital Manager you will work closely with the Group Business Director and Digital Director, to ensure that the product delivered to the clients is truly integrated and best in class.
In this role you will be responsible for developing all digital elements of the recommendation, researching the target audience, digital tactics, appropriate channels, (Search, Social, Programmatic, Display, Mobile etc) and negotiating with media publishers. This is a client facing role so your ability to build relationships and communicate effectively is imperative!
Manage the clients business as a core contact for digital media related communication
Maintain strong working relationships with digital clients
Attend brand planning workshops and lead client presentations
Play an active role in ensuring that unique and award winning ideas are developed and delivered
Continually recommend and test the latest technologies and monitor results
Manage the workflow of the digital team to ensure that tasks are delivered on time and the team are continually learning
Stay aware of clients’ competitor activities & deliver insights for clients
Develop coherent and compelling responses to client briefs with human insights driving digital recommendations
Traffic digital campaigns effectively using agency preferred third-party adserving software eg. DoubleClick, MediaMind etc
Manage the preparation of reports in conjunction with digital team to cover all aspects of client’s media investment: schedules, reports, contracts, budgeting, confirmation, final buy, post analysis, tracking etc
Education, Skills, and Experience
Extensive client services experience in a media agency environment
Experience of planning across social, search, display, online video, mobile
Thorough understanding of digital media landscape and emerging trends
Good understanding of how to leverage digital platforms to meet both direct response and branding KPIs
Experience and in depth knowledge of the adserving process including trafficking across display, mobile and online video
Confident at data analysis, reporting and presenting business results to senior clients
A bachelor degree or equivalent tertiary qualification in relevant field
Ideally 4-5 years’ experience in industry
