Mining - Exploration & Geoscience (Mining, Resources & Energy) Full time FMR is seeking Diamond Drillers and Diamond Drill Offsiders for our underground gold mine located 55km Northeast of Kalgoorlie.

Equipment: LM90 Mobile Carrier Rig and LM90 Skid rigsPermanent Full-Time positionsCompetitive rates and metre bonusGreat team environmentTraining and Development Opportunities availableEstablished mine owner/operator with advancing mine life.Diamond Drillers Drillers will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the diamond drill rigs and associated equipment, demonstrating their mechanical ability to maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure optimal performance. Conduct drill hole surveys and ensure the accurate recording of data as well as collaborate with geologists and other technical staff to optimize the drilling processes.
Drillers must have the ability to work as part of a team and supervise other staff involved in the drilling operations, providing training and mentorship to less experienced personnel.
Diamond Drill Offsiders No previous experience required. Entry-level position, all training provided on the job.
The Offsider assists the Driller and must be able to take instruction. The role includes but is not limited to handling core samples, assisting with equipment maintenance and repairs. Candidates must be willing to work in a physically demanding role.
Offsider positions are based locally within the Goldfields, working 10.5 hour shifts, on a 6 days on 1 off 6 on 8 off roster. We are committed to a family-friendly roster that aims to deliver the best possible production results.
