About the program AIR6500 is the RAAF's $3 billion program to develop a joint air battle management system that builds on the capabilities offered by Next Generation sensor and command and control systems. AIR6500 will create a fully networked 'system of systems' that synchronises air and missile defence operations in joint and coalition environments, maximising situational awareness and enhancing the speed of decision making across the battlespace.
Your responsibilities will include: Act as Agile Product Owner for the Common Operating Environment team while working with the technical lead to establish complexity/feasibility of future taskings.Prioritising the team backlog, tasking the team and ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner, documented and presented to the Program and customer.Assist the AIR6500 1LMX Lead to meet AIR6500 programmatic needs with 1LMX solutions.Act as an agent and advocate for AIR6500's adoption of Agile, DevSecOps, MBSE, PLE and Automated Test capabilities.Provide focused communication and leadership to the team to ensure achievement of both short term and long-term commitments, deliverables, and objectives.About you: To be successful in the role you will have extensive experience working as a Product Owner within a SAFe Project, including Project Increment (PI) Planning and Sprint Planning, along with:
Demonstrated experience with digital transformation campaigns, promoting the adoption of transformative tooling, processes and practices.Superior experience presenting complex solutions to audiences of wide-ranging knowledge levels.Significant knowledge and experience with Software Configuration Management/repository Tools such as GitLab and Nexus.Significant knowledge and experience with CI/CD tools such as Gitlab, ArgoCD and Rancher.Special Requirements: Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
