Now is an incredibly exciting time to join our Seniors Living Property Development Team as a Development Manager to manage the end-to-end development and delivery of residential and community property projects across NSW.As the successful incumbent you will provide leadership to a team of project managers overseeing capital development portfolios. You will ensure that projects meet budget, timeline, and quality targets from feasibility through to project completion and handover.This is a maximum-term full-time position for 12 months. The role will be based in Norwest until February 2025, then moving to Macquarie Park. We offer a supportive and inclusive environment where you can make a real difference in people's lives.Benefits: Generous remuneration package and salary packaging benefits on offer, hybrid/flexible working arrangements, free on-site parking, employee wellness and rewards programs, Fitness Passport and retail discounts from selected retailers, and MORE!!About the role:Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):Manage ongoing revision of development scope, plans and protocols based on changing needs.Lead quantitative and qualitative due diligence to identify and evaluate risks that could impact project health.Prepare and present regular project status reports to governance leadership to enable informed steering of capital initiative.Direct end-to-end acquisition process of securing design and other consultants over engagement lifespan from sourcing through onboarding.Control progression of essential changes in design specifications, verifying need, assessing consequence, gaining authorisations, and incorporating revisions.Oversee defects, administering repairs, enforcing standards, and achieving finished product fit for occupation and operation on time and within expectation.Manage setup and furnishing actions to place property into a fully prepared situation for resident and customer utilisation.Ensure capture of final learnings, surveys, and data to close out developmental lifecycle and inform future projects.Qualification, skills and experience required:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Project Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in property development, project management, or related field, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.Experience managing residential and community property projects, preferably within NSW or similar contexts.Demonstrated experience in leading teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing property development in NSW.Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and tendering procedures highly desirable.Knowledge of construction methodologies, design principles, and building systems.Apply today to be part of an organisation that values integrity, justice, compassion, and excellence in everything we do!Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates are encouraged to apply.Applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible as applications may be reviewed prior to the closing date.
